The Beginning of our journey together as the Living Grace Global Methodist Church:
“It is possible to see our world and all humanity through wise eyes. The panic of living beyond this moment in fear of some coming event steals from us the only life we have: This present moment.
It has been said, “If you do not know where you are going you will end up some place else or not know when you have arrived!” Either situation is represented as being lost in the moment. In life things not only fall apart. They also end. This awareness keeps life sane and refutes the belief of some people that life is just one thing after another and then you die…Life is not lifeless by definition.
All the timeless moments cannot be relived. All retreats into the past to reclaim a time that was end in ashes. Being fully alive in this moment is the only way God has revealed in His Word for creating memories of being truly alive.
The clock lies. It will not be 3:00 a.m. again tomorrow. 3:00 a.m. yesterday never returns. The hourglass is a better representation of time. We live this moment but once and what we learn from the experience informs all moments to come. That a moment past is gone forever is a profound truth.
As we turn this new page in our common life together, I hope our times together refresh our lives each time we are together. Jesus encourages us to live before the curtain comes down on the final act of our lives. We are meant to be, not just become in our lifetime. Let us be about our Father’s business.”
In the Service of Jesus Christ, Savior and Lord, forever together,
